Marian E. Krieger is licensed both as a Psychologist and Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. She has more than thirty years of experience in a variety of settings. This includes three years as a psychologist in the Employee Assistance Program at Progressive Insurance, where she provided the full range of mental health services to employees and developed a Career Decision Making program. Prior to joining Progressive’s EAP Dr. Krieger enjoyed a career in college counseling, and served for thirteen years as Director of the Counseling Center at Baldwin-Wallace College. She works with clients across the life span starting at age 18. Dr. Krieger’s areas of interest include the treatment of depression, stress and anxiety, eating problems, women’s issues, relationship difficulties, career decision making and concerns of aging. She has extensive experience working with couples and groups as well as individuals. She also enjoys providing educational workshops on topics like Assertive Communication, Stress Reduction and Self-Esteem. Dr. Krieger takes a collaborative approach to counseling, joining with her clients to assist them in clarifying thoughts and feelings and working toward desired goals. She welcomes calls from prospective clients who want more information before making a decision on a therapist.
