Becky
Streem has been a Licensed Independent Social Worker for the
past 20 years. She graduated from the Mandel School of Applied
Social Sciences in 1987 where she received her MSSA in clinical
social work. Becky also holds a license in chemical dependency
counseling and has been working with addicts and training students
on the detox unit at Huron Hospital for almost 10 years. Although
Becky specializes in addiction to drugs and alcohol, she also
treats clients with sex addiction, food addiction, and codependency.
Becky's post-graduate training was in Structural Family Therapy.
There, Becky worked with families whose child was at risk due
to poor grades, truancy, and unruley behavior. She continues
to work with adolescents individually and with their families.
Becky's practice includes treatment of individuals with depression
or other mood disorders, women's issues, couple's counseling,
family therapy, addiction treatment, and work with the gay and
lesbian population. |
